About Us

Levy Building Sciences, LLC provides unbiased independent third party building science related consulting for water damage, mold, indoor air quality (IAQ) along with industrial hygiene and occupational, health & safety. We are located on the Treasure Coast and can service the state of Florida.

Levy Building Sciences (LBS) staff pride ourselves in providing timely & detailed yet cost effective, client customized science based, and legally defensible assessments and reports for insurance carriers and independent adjusting firms, restoration companies, property managers, construction companies, attorneys, and private parties.

All of LBS staff are certified by and bound to the code of ethics of American Council of Accredited Certification (ACAC) which is nationally recognized by the Council for Engineering and Scientific Specialty Boards (CESB) as well as American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH). LBS are also member of the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) and the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA).

In addition all of our staff licensed to conduct mold assessments from the Florida Department of Professional Regulation (http://www.myfloridalicense.com/DBPR/) and all mold assessments are customized to be cost effective, provide meaningful and timely answers and are conducted in compliance with ASTM standards for mold assessment in buildings (ASTM D7338-14 Standard Guide for Assessment of Fungal Growth in Buildings)
