Express Employment Professionals is looking to add an Estimator-Heavy Civil Underground Construction in the Stuart, FL area.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish working relationships with Owners, Engineers, and inspectors and other office & field team members.
Plan and supervise multiple projects from start to finish, according to the contract documents and procedures. Understand the Scope of work to be performed. Provide timely and organized completion of entire pre-job planning process along with proper communication and dissemination of all pertinent information while project progresses.
Responsible for project submittal creation and review process between field operations, subcontractors and suppliers.
Negotiate and administer contracts for procurement of materials and subcontractors in compliance with budgetary constraints.
Responsible for proactively identifying project changes and for estimating, obtaining, and managing change orders. Ensure proper job control to meet or exceed expected profitability.
Ability to read and understand civil plans. Understand all aspects of construction including underground utilities, grading, earthwork.
Prepare close-out documents and procedures.
Maintain and complete pay applications.
Qualifications:
5 years as manager or site superintendent
Construction Management, Engineering or Field Related Experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, PDF, HCSS (Heavy BId)
